On April 16, the logo of the World Health Organization (WHO) was projected on the Heydar Aliyev Center. As an expression of Azerbaijan's solidarity with the international community against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the flags of the virus-affected countries were displayed on the building of the Heydar Aliyev Center, one of the world's architectural gems, accompanied by the music of that country. Thus, the Heydar Aliyev Center expressed its support, respect and esteem for the countries and their peoples where COVID-19 is widespread. The WHO Country Office would like to thank the Heydar Aliyev Center for displaying the World Health Organization logo. We appreciate this solidarity and support. At the forefront of the fight, the World Health Organization (WHO), along with thousands of staff, supports member states and their communities in the fight against the virus, especially those most affected by the pandemic, with advice, training, equipment and vital services. WHO and other UN agencies are working closely with the Azerbaijani government and other partners to address the urgent challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. We will do our best to support Azerbaijan in overcoming this difficult test. We are stronger together and together we will overcome this crisis.
